We are seeking a Drafter/Designer to support the design and manufacturing of turbomachinery components and assemblies. This position will work closely with Engineering, Shop, Purchasing, and Project Management to develop accurate CAD layouts, drawings, BOMs, and other engineering documentation. Responsibilities: - Perform dimensional inspections and collect data for project layouts and designs. - Create and maintain CAD layouts, 3D models, and engineering drawings. - Develop BOMs and maintain drafting-related project information in the MRP system. - Collaborate with Engineering, Shop, and Purchasing to ensure drawings are accurate and manufacturable. - Provide mentorship and technical support to junior drafters and participate in customer site visits as needed - Must have 5+ years of mechanical design experience. - Must have experience with NX/Teamcenter, SolidWorks, or equivalent 3D CAD software. - Must have experience with turbomachinery or related machined components. - Must have experience using metrology scan data (PolyWorks or similar) to create 3D models and manufacturing drawings. - Must have experience using measuring tools such as veniers and micrometers By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, Al-generated calls, text messages, or emails from Synerfac Technical Staffing and our contracted partners.
