Position: Part-Time or Full-Time Nanny
Location: San Antonio / Canyon Lake, TX
Schedule: Tuesday, Thursday & Friday, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM; possibility of adding Monday & Wednesday for the right candidate
Salary: $30–$35/hour, depending on experience
Start Date: ASAP

Vehicle: Family vehicle provided; mileage reimbursement available when applicable

A warm, family-oriented household is seeking a dependable and engaging Nanny for two children, ages 3 and 6. The position will initially be three days per week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), with the possibility of expanding to a full-time, five-day-per-week schedule for the right candidate.
The children are homeschooled and spend three days each week at their grandmother’s home in San Antonio. The nanny will begin the day by picking up the children near Canyon Lake and driving them approximately 1.5 hours to their grandmother’s home in San Antonio. The nanny will care for the children throughout the day and then drive them back to Canyon Lake at the end of the day. A company vehicle can be provided for this transportation.
The family would ideally like to find someone who lives in or near the San Antonio area, as this will make picking up and returning the company vehicle easier. Candidates who are interested in a larger schedule may also have the opportunity to work two additional days per week caring for the children at their father's home.
The 6-year-old works with a private tutor, so the nanny will not be responsible for providing his primary academic instruction. The nanny should, however, be comfortable supporting the children's homeschool routine and creating a positive, structured environment throughout the day.
The ideal candidate is warm, patient, dependable, and confident setting appropriate boundaries with children. The family values a positive approach to discipline and is looking for someone who can provide structure while remaining encouraging, affectionate, and engaging.
The family has a strong Christian background and would appreciate a nanny who is comfortable working within a faith-centered family environment and respectfully supporting the values and routines established by the family.
Candidates must have a clean driving record and be very comfortable with the amount of driving required for this position. A family vehicle can be provided, or mileage reimbursement can be discussed when a personal vehicle is used.
The family is looking for someone to start as soon as possible and is open to either a strong part-time candidate or someone interested in expanding the position into a full-time role.
